Privacy Policy - Cocktail Genie

Genieverse LLC

We respect your privacy. Cocktail Genie collects only what's needed to run the app — like your email if you create an account, and photos you choose to submit for bottle/ingredient scanning.

We do not sell, trade, or magically teleport your data to third parties. What happens in the app… stays in the app.

Some non-personal data (like usage patterns) may be collected to improve the experience — think of it as the genie learning your taste.

Any taste preferences or habits the Genie learns about you are held in the strictest confidence. This information is never sold, shared, or whispered to anyone — not even other genies. Your palate is your own sacred magic. ✨

We also use a few trusted magical allies to keep the Genie running smoothly:

• Third-party services (like TheCocktailDB API) may operate under their own privacy policies.
• Supabase stores your account information (like your email) and app data (such as saved ingredients, favorites, and token balance) securely.
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing process subscription and token purchases. Purchase history is used only to manage your subscription status and grant tokens — never sold or shared beyond what's needed to fulfill your purchase.
• When you use "Scan My Bar," photos you capture are sent to Anthropic (maker of Claude AI) for analysis, so the Genie can identify your bottles and ingredients. These images are used only to generate your results and are not stored by us beyond what's needed to process your request.

By using this app, you agree to this policy. Laws vary by country — follow your local regulations.
